The difference between axial fans and centrifugal fans
May 01, 2021
The main difference between a centrifugal fan and an axial fan is: 1. The centrifugal fan changes the flow direction of the medium in the duct, while the axial flow fan does not change the flow direction of the medium in the duct; 2. The former is more complicated to install. 3. The former motor and the fan are generally driven by belts to rotate the wheels If connected, the motor of the latter is generally in the fan; 4 the former is often installed at the inlet and outlet of the air conditioning unit, boiler drum, induced draft fan, etc. The latter is often installed in the middle of the duct or at the front end of the duct outlet.
